The right to vote is the foundation of democratic power. The Omega PAC actively monitors and opposes any legislation that restricts ballot access, reduces polling locations in minority communities, or undermines the integrity of fair elections. We support automatic voter registration, expanded early voting, and robust protections against partisan gerrymandering that dilutes the political power of communities of color. A democracy that works for everyone begins with a ballot box that is accessible to everyone.

Decades of discriminatory policy have produced a persistent racial wealth gap that cannot be ignored. The Omega PAC supports federal and state initiatives that expand access to capital for minority-owned businesses, reform discriminatory lending practices, create good-paying jobs in underserved communities, and address the structural barriers that have prevented generational wealth accumulation in Black households. Economic equity is inseparable from political equity.

Education is the most powerful tool for upward mobility, and its unequal distribution across racial and economic lines is a moral failure of public policy. The Omega PAC advocates for equitable school funding formulas, expanded access to early childhood education, support for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and policies that address the school-to-prison pipeline. Every child deserves a school environment that prepares them to lead.

Black Americans face disproportionate rates of chronic illness, maternal mortality, and limited access to quality healthcare. The Omega PAC supports expanding Medicaid coverage in states that have refused it, addressing implicit bias in medical practice, investing in community health infrastructure in underserved areas, and closing the health disparities that rob our communities of life, productivity, and dignity. Health equity is a prerequisite for full civic participation.

The criminal justice system, as currently structured, disproportionately impacts Black and brown communities at every stage — from policing to prosecution to incarceration and beyond. The Omega PAC supports comprehensive reform efforts including ending mandatory minimum sentences that remove judicial discretion, investing in community-based alternatives to incarceration, restoring voting rights to formerly incarcerated individuals, and advancing policies that support successful reentry into society.

Stable housing is essential to individual dignity and community health. The Omega PAC supports policies that combat housing discrimination, invest in affordable housing construction and preservation, address the legacy of redlining through targeted community investment, and protect existing residents from displacement driven by gentrification. A community that cannot house its people cannot build its future.
